This issue covers news about our next meeting, our special Nov 7th Open Evening, last chance for discounts from OneClick, and advance notice of our special Christmas lecture on Identity Theft.

We hope you can make it to next week's multiple site meeting: please note that you need to let us know which venue you plane to come to.

Access Grid is an advanced collaboration environment which has been described as "videoconferencing on steroids". Come and find out more from Michael Daw, Head of the UK Access Grid Support Centre at the University of Manchester in this Joint Session with Chester & North Wales branch, with live video links between the OERC escience building in Oxford, the Rutherford Appleton and Daresbury Labs, and Bangor University.

Note that Oxfordshire attendees can either come to our usual meeting place in Oxford, or the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory. Because of limited space at the venues and security requirements at RAL, you need to tell us via the contact form which venue you plan to come to.
