How to Enter
This is a two stage process:
- Use the Sign-up form to tell us that you plan to enter the competition. You can do this at any time, as soon as you are reasonably sure of the details of your team.
- When you have finished your web site, follow the instructions below to submit your entry. You can do this at any time after the Submission page opens.
How to Submit Your Entry
You may submit your entry on as a URL which the judges can access (the prefered method), or on a CD or on diskette, by post.
- Check that you have understood the competition Rules, the Marking Scheme, and the Key Dates.
-
If you submit the web site on a CD or diskette
- it should be possible to access the web site from the CD - for example by opening index.htm. You must provide simple instructions for accessing the web site with your entry.
- you must allow time for it to be received by the Last Submission date.
- any ‘plug-ins’ required to make the entry work should be included.
- you must fill in and submit the Submission Form online, and print a hard copy to send in with your entry.
-
if you submit the web site on diskettes, your
entry should not span more than 5 floppy
disks.
Note: You may submit the web site as a single ZIP file. If you choose to use any other compression format you should also provide the appropriate decompression utility together with brief instructions about using it.
-
If you submit your web site in the form of a URL for
judging online
- you can complete the Submission Form online at any time up to the Last Submission date.
- you must not make any changes to its design until after the date of the prize giving ceremony. You are allowed to make minor updates to, for example, news items on home page.
