The speaker was Anna Machin, a solicitor in the disputes department of Nominet.

Anna gave a fascinating talk about the Dispute Resolution Service which Nominet has set up to resolve disputes over domain names.

She explained the roles played by herself as an arbitrator and by the independent outside experts who are called in when arbitration fails.
