  Outlook® Diary

If you use Microsoft® Outlook®, or any other tool which accepts the iCalendar format, you can download diary items covering our events to add into your calendar. We hope this will be a useful way to help you remember the meetings.

  1. Right-click to download this ZIP file: BCSOxonDiary2007-8.zip.
  2. Extract the items from the ZIP file
  3. Each entry is available in both iCal (.ics) and the older vCal (.vcs) format. If you are using an older version of Outlook® you may need to use the vCal files; otherwise use the iCal files.
  4. In Windows, double-click the items (one-by one) to import them into Outlook®.
(If you are using another Organiser, the procedure to import the items may be different)
  5. Note: the ics diary entries are mostly set to remind you half a day before the meeting. If you don't like this, you can change the setting as you enter them into your calendar.
  6. Note: Very occasionally we have to make changes to the programme. To be on the safe side, please check with the branch website before each meeting and/or join our mailing list to ask for meeting reminders.

Our thanks to the BCS Central London Branch for the initial idea of providing calendar entries for you to import.
