Terms and conditions of free prize draw for Oxfordshire Branch member survey

  • The prize is a £30 Amazon voucher. There is no cash alternative.
  • The draw is not open to employees of BCS or their families.
  • Only one entry per individual is permitted.
  • The closing date for entry into the prize draw is Monday 25th February at 12 pm.
  • The winner will be notified by email within 3 weeks of the closing date.
  • The winner will be sent their prize within 6 weeks of the closing date.
  • The winner will be selected at random. If a winner does not respond to our notification telling them that they’ve won the competition, within 3 weeks, we may award the prize to another randomly selected participant.
  • The BCS’ decision as to the winner is final. No correspondence relating to the draw will be entered into.
  • The winner’s name and email address may be disclosed to any participant who sends a SAE to the address below within one month of the draw closing date.
  • The promoter does not accept any responsibility for errors or omissions made in good faith. In the event of a dispute regarding the draw, the decision of BCS will be final.
  • Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and agreed to them.
  • BCS has the right to withdraw a winning prize if the winner is subsequently found to be in breach of any of these rules.
  • BCS HQ will administer the prize draw and arrange delivery of the prize. BCS cannot take responsibility for lost, damaged or returned postal items.
  • BCS reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at its sole discretion and without notice in the event of any event outside BCS’ reasonable control. Any changes will be an amendment to these terms and conditions.
  • These rules will be governed by English law.
